Summer is more than fun and relaxing things to do, it’s also a state of mind. That’s why summertime provides the perfect backdrop for the five fictional short stories contained in this book. We’ll spend time cruising up the California coast aboard the Discovery II with murder in the air. Between sets of Hawaiian music and sips of mai tais we’ll find out who the “Beach Boy Rapist” really is and why he’s stalking fans of the band. In an amazing turn around we’ll watch a down-on-his-luck surfer go from zero to hero. We’ll witness two teenagers come of age while they try to solve a crime and rescue kidnapped Drug Enforcement Agents. Adventure is around every corner as we search for a missing boat off the coast of Mexico while dodging sharks during a deep dive. The five stories contained in this book include a colorful cast of characters involved in a mix of murder, mystery and mayhem along with a healthy dose of romance—all set against the summer season.
