The Chronicles of Sapta Sindhu

The book is India's first proto historical novel, following the destiny of the people of Indus valley and their inter-linking with the people of Arianna and Mesopotamia. It talks of the Greek invasion and tells a tale of bravery of the simple citizens of the Confederacy of Sapta Sidhu, to fight the Greek invasion led by the Queen Kassandrra and her brothers, the ruler of South-West Arianna.
Above all it is a tale of a boy Sushyo, who wants to be a toy=maker, but picks up arms to claim what is rightfully his;the throne of Arianna.
It is a story of a girl Yatratyamini, who is deemed to be an incarnate of Goddess Shakti, but who wishes to lead a normal life.
It is a story of Yatravalkaya, who as the chief adviser of the Sapta Sindhu confederacy, has to meet the challenges of the natural calamities and the Greek invasion, and how he, along with the Captain, fights the Greek and Gutien tribes in the battle of the Helmand.
The book, talks of the people and the region, which is in the theros of conflict, even now; namely Iraq, iran and Afghanistan and tells us that this was the region where humanity developed and where the two great religious texts were written; Avesta and Rig Veda..
Above all, the novel is an entertaining fiction and also has profound wisdom.
