This atmospheric and experimental collection of literature tells stories of contemporary Jamaican realities, yet manages to feel like a nuanced ode to the bitter-sweet concrete jungles of Kingston. It is the result of an intensive three year period during a young writer’s life, when he learns of a global shift of the world’s poles, but also finds himself experiencing it first hand in his own daily life. It is a response to the change in times and also a symbol of this change.
