Speak to Me of Love

He was a prisoner of his own anger and bitterness. She held the key that could set him free.

Ever since Faith Butler's husband deserted her, her career as an actress with a traveling Shakespearean troupe has put food on the table for her two small children. But when her daughter falls dangerously ill, Faith has no choice but to remain in desolate Dead Horse, Wyoming, while the troupe moves on. Desperately in need of a job, she begins working as a housekeeper for the mysterious Drake Rutledge, an enigmatic rancher who was disfigured in a terrible accident.

Drake has enveloped himself in a world of darkness and isolation. He doesn't need anyone complicating his life, and he regrets hiring Faith whose breathtaking beauty and gentle ways are tormenting reminders of what he once had and lost. As Faith shows Drake what it could be like to live again, he fears the day her husband might come to claim the wife and children Drake longs to call his own.

Two people, each sworn never to love again. Until fate steps in.
