HIRING HOUSEKEEPERS is a series of nightmares. Ella’s quest goes between visiting Memory Lane - a place so well known, it is named for its main street. This place may appear differently from one mind to the next, but town governments there erect street signs to assist travelers. Ghost-like spirits of Twain and William Miller – author of the Wee Willie Winkie rhyme, are there with Soul and Spirit, two entities who converse without Ella ever seeing them. Not only do they travel to Memory Lane – but into Ella’s dreams as bystanders. Soul and Spirit, who dress for all occasions, are concerned.

AS NEGATIVITY mounts in Memory Lane, deception and greed are about to deliver dishonest housekeepers to a secret Irish estate. What will they find, discover and learn?

CLOCK WATCHERS beware. Clocks stared at too frequently in this estate just might make your face their own. If your own personality mimics a snake, be careful of where you step and sit -- especially where you sleep. Be alert to buzzards and giant crows toting bottles of ketchup and tabasco that stare too intently at you. Come prepared. Don’t forget to pack galoshes, an umbrella, earmuffs and running shoes.
