'Any Road" is a lively account of daily life at work and in the community of Small Heath (in the West Midlands) during the first part of the last century. It includes many vivid experiences and anecdotes about work at the B.S.A., on a farm and the buses as well as customs and living conditions in the area at the time. It is an entertaining look at times past by someone who was there.
