Independent Record Shops In Scotland
This is a map of every Independent record shop in Scotland.
The list this map is based on was originally compiled in June 2013 and was created for a Masters thesis which looked at the changes in physical retail of music in Scotland between 2003 and 2013.
I have (sadly) removed shops from the list which have closed since then. The list was always tentative, as company addresses often continue to be associated with bricks and mortar premises even after they have ceased openly trading. I hope that sourcing local information will allow this map to be a more comprehensive and, ultimately, a more definitive source.
